ACLJ Resorts to name calling and distraction. Again.

Absolute and willfully ignorance, that's what his argument is. Not only is he neglecting his duty as an officer of the judicial system, he is openly allowing his own personal beliefs to influence his judgement. If our own government isnt held accountable for it's own laws than how are we expected to do such? Am I not, then, justified in determining which laws I shall abide by and which not to? Personal beliefs are just that, personal and private. If this were a privately funded shrine to Christianity or any other denomination for that matter, then we wouldn't be having this conversation, but it is utilizing public funds, oh which I pay, and I am an atheist and DO NOT want my money going towards a symbol of a belief I do not agree with. Sekulow is a biased, narrow-minded individual and any one else that would compromise their beliefs in the name of civility doesn't warrant the freedom from religion that the Constitution of the United States provides.

Perry also said this a few months ago:

Yes, he refers to the resurrection as a historical fact. That should completely disqualify him from the presidency, shouldn't it?

I have to agree with almost every item in the list in the article. The possible exceptions are historical documents that have secular purposes and the cemetary at Normandy unless the United States pays for upkeep, however I believe that any US soldier that is buried there and was not christian, should have a different marker.

As I looked over Mr. Sekulow's list of real or imagined "things that must be removed or altered immediately to rectify the government's continued disregard for the hurt feelings of godless Americans," the very last item virtually jumped out at me and poked me in the eye: "Arlington National Cemetery is replete with religious symbolism complete with a list of authorized religious emblems." The Arlington list also includes one noteworthy nonreligious symbol: the American Atheist atom. I recall, way back in the days of Madalyn O'Hair, when American Atheists proudly announced that the request to include this symbol at Arlington had been granted. I'm guessing that Mr. Sekulow did not notice this emblem on the Arlington list -- assuming he actually looked at the list. I can't imagine that he would have knowingly included something in his own list that actually supports American Atheists' demand for inclusion at the WTC museum.

Exactly what name calling was there? And please don't use the "idiots guide" as an example, you should be above that.
