MYTH Billboard To Be Auctioned Off at Atheist Convention!

That's right folks, now YOU can OWN the actual vinyl billboard that was featured on the news in 7 countries (at least), Saturday Night Live, CNN, FOX News, the Colbert Report, and a host of other shows.

The billboard will be at the convention in Des Moines, and it will be signed by myself, several other boards members, and some of our speakers. Take it home or have it shipped to you -- it's yours if you're the highest bidder.

This is your chance to own an epic piece of atheist history. Remote bids will be accepted!

Anyone who lives within view of a major highway could use it instead of aluminum or vinyl hiding on the highway facing side of their home.

What are the dimensions? Would it make a good mural for the side of a Winnebago ... or a bus? It looks a bit big for that.

One could drag it behind a small plane and fly back and forth along the beach on a hot summer day.

One could put it on the lawn of the local courthouse next to the ten commandments display.

Still thinking. I'll let you know if I come up with more good uses.

Suggestion to American Atheists:

1) Photograph the billboard.
2) Cut the billboard into some number of rectangles that preserve the original aspect ratio. Each should be about the size of a dollar bill, give or take.
3) Number each based on its position within the original billboard.
4) Print the photo of the original billboard on each piece.
5) Sell the pieces.

But wait! If you act now, we'll gladly encase yours in a Lucite frame suitable for display on a coffee table such that both sides show.

Now how much would you pay?

Each one will be laser etched with the signatures of the executives of American Atheists and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Given the limited number of these available, these are sure to be instant collector's items.
