    This is the big one, as American Atheists rings in a new epoch in the
struggle for Atheist civil rights, Reason, and the Separation of Church and
State!
    American Atheists will hold its 26th Annual National Convention April
21-23, 2000 in San Francisco, California.  Join us for three days of
fascinating lectures, leadership training, workshops, panels and social
events.
    The convention will take place at the luxurious Westin San Francisco
Airport Hotel.
    Confirmed speakers for the convention include:
* WENDY KAMINER - Social critic, editor, author of "Sleeping with
Extra-Terrestrials: The Rise of Irrationalism and the Perils of Piety."
* DOUGLAS ADAMS - Award-winning novelist, author of "Hitchhiker's    e to
the Galaxy" and other works.
* KEAY DAVIDSON - Science reporter for the San Francisco Examiner, author of
the new biography on astronomer Carl Sagan.
* ANNE STONE -  Author - She will speak about her new book, "Living in the
Light: Freeing Your Child From the Dark Ages" - a book on rearing Atheist
children.
