If you're an atheist, why bother with activism? If atheism is true, the best thing to activate for is the unleashing of every hydrogen bomb in every arsenal. If you follow atheism out to it's logical conclusion, the meaninglessness of life becomes a torture. So, the hydrogen bomb becomes the greatest good.

Edward: I wouldn't give me any slack if I were you. Remember I said it; that's all I'm saying.

Now, as for atheism and nihlism, if you don't see the connection, Karen, then you don't see atheism at all. Maybe it's just a group you can get some belonging needs satisfied in; who knows.

As for posting in other blogs, I kind of like it. It's like renting a car, you still get all the traffic, but you don't really feel responsible for anything that happens.

By the way, who runs this blog? Is it that guy in picture on the title bar?

American Atheist. I didn't know it existed. I have to subscribe, but there's no way in hell I'm putting my credit card number into an atheist's group. I'll check out Amazon and see if it's available through there. If not, I guess I'll just have to suffer with Skeptic.

I was born an atheist. At age 5 my parents told me that theism was an acquired taste. I tried it. It tasted like Spam and communion wine and gummy bear residue and monosyllabic thoughts. Congrats on the ratings! Rock on...

Hey David, I found out about this site through our local Louisville newspaper's website. it was reference in an article about a mom and dad going to court about whether their son should go to a Catholic high school or not. I was just curious if you had anything to do with that, or if it was just fortune that the writer linked you?
