NDOP Protest in Florida TODAY

It's difficult to get a protest going on a work day.
But, it's on!

There will be a peaceful protest of the National Day of Prayer at City Hall in Orlando , Florida. Location, 400 S. Orange Av. Orlando ,Florida.
When, May 1st Thursday, 12:00 (Noon) to 1:00 P.M.
It's only one hour but bring water and sunblock Try to arrive a little early. I'll be wearing a bright orange shirt to help you find me. If necessary, call my cell at 352-217-3470.
Afterwards we will go to lunch. Location will be decided later by vote.

Reason,

Florida protest to Chicago to O'Bama (Irish spelling) to Rev. Wright. How did that happen in three posts?

What's wrong with Wright is he's a racist. What's wrong with O'Bama is he sat under Wright's rants without a whimper of protest. And that takes us back to the original post.

I'm just hoping your protest went okay, especially in a state where the christians are heavily armed and do not hesitate to blow each other's heads off if they don't believe in the same Invisible Sky Fairy. You're made of sterner stuff than I - I won't go near any of the jeebus states.

Not all the states are controlled by a bunch of religiously insane theofascists, though. Tax-A$$ and Flori-Duh are the leaders in enacting their religious insanity as the law of the land, and there are quite a few others starting along their path (including my current state of residence, Michigan) - but other than Massabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Arkansas (notice any kind of geographical pattern here?) most of the rest of them don't try and force their religious insanity down everyone else's throats as the law of the land.

Don't lets forget that the most bat shit crazy religious state is Utah and the fact that the Mormons run everything there. Let's also remember that Colorado is home to more evangelical xian orgnaisations than any other state with Colorado Springs being ground zero for the movement-ever hear of focus on the family and james dobson? they have their own damn zipcode to handle the volume of mail they receive. The rev fred phelps and his westobor baptist church of "god hates fags" fame is in Topeka, KS and the creationism vs evolution fiasco in public schools was in Dover, DE was it not? Also, I have never been approached aggressivley by more people intent on introducing me to jesus as on the streets of San Francisco.
Not all christian crazies live here in the South.
