The 2018 National Convention will be held from March 29 to April 1, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the OKC Sheraton Hotel.

We are returning to our regular Easter weekend dates for 2018 as we celebrate what it means to be an atheist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Presenting one of the most diverse collections of atheist speakers for any national event, you’ll hear from activists, community leaders, academics, and some of your favorite people from the atheist community. As always, American Atheists will emphasize bringing brand new stories you’ve never heard to the stage, including international activists, musicians, poets, and much more

With three days of speakers, social events, comedy, music, and workshops, this is the one event you don’t want to miss.

Schedule of Events

Pre-convention social events and activism workshops will start on Thursday, March 29. Speakers and main stage presentations will begin on Friday, March 30 and continue to Sunday, April 1. Throughout the weekend, you will have the opportunity to attend special events including a comedy show, pub quiz, awards dinner, VIP reception, and more.

On Sunday, we will complete a service project to pack meals for thousands of people in the Oklahoma City area. Attendees who are able to support this service project will be invited to attend a special post-convention party and thank-you reception.
