American Atheists is calling for speaker, panel, and workshop proposals for our 2019 National Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio, April 19-21.
Deadline for submissions: November 5, 2018, at midnight Eastern Time
American Atheists is committed to presenting new, compelling, and diverse perspectives at our national convention.
Past proposals that have been selected have included: activism and organizing; politics, public policy, and advocacy; community building; personal experiences related to leaving religion; science, technology, and education; communications and marketing; and litigation and constitutional rights.
In addition, we welcome submissions from artists, poets, musicians, comedians, and other performers.
If your proposal is chosen for our national convention, American Atheists will contact you directly to arrange your travel and accommodations.
The convention will be held at the historic Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel, located at 35 West Fifth Street in Downtown Cincinnati. Open since 1931, the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel is one of the world’s finest examples of French Art Deco design.
The hotel features amazing dining options, including Ohio’s only AAA Five Diamond Restaurant, Orchids at Palm Court. The Hilton Netherland Plaza is just steps from Fountain Square and is connected to a variety of dining options and a shopping arcade.
